This is an image of the same neighbors yard in Virginia when we lived there. It is very well maintained and I just love the rock border. I took that idea to my home in New Brunswick which I'll show you later on. Not sure what the bright pink flower is, but it was on the side of one of my neighbors home and grew VERY tall. Here's a picture of my oldest daughter standing beneath it. Anyone know what it is?
This is to show you and others all about my love of gardening. The attempts of a beginner gardener and all that it entails. Inspirations, small garden plots, container planting and unique garden art.

Hi Taracotta,
I am glad to find a new blog to read! You are doing a great job.
The bush appears to be a rhododendron--and a very nice one at that!
