Here are some "Viola" that I planted....it is a perenial and will come back next year. I love the yellow purple combo. NICE

Here is my red chair with some yellow and purple planted in it. Should look great by mid summer.

Here is a side view of my garden, this is after I put the red cedar mulch on it. I loved how vibrant it looked...it faded very fast after a couple of days, makes me think that it wasn't truly red cedar mulch, but just red colored mulch. Hmmmm

Took the same pattern "Blessed be the gathered we" stitchery and framed it this time with some patchwork around it..I love how it turned out. Even matches the quilt and pillows I did with the stars. LOL

This is the back of the frame...I took brown paper and glued it to the back edge of the frame then I sprayed it with water (spray bottle) and used the hairdryer on it...WOW...It went just like a professional did it, nice and taunt. COOL

Finished up two pillows to compliment the quilt that I had made for the couch...going to put them in the craft show and if they don't sell....then I get them for my own couch. ROFLOL...
Then a friend of mine helped me do a stitchery on craft night while I did another one and I turned it into a "patchwork" stitchery pillow.

Here are two more projects...the "harvest" one is a stitchery that I did up and the other one is a "painted" pillow. I used fabric paint and just loved it. So easy to do.

Seems as though I've gotten myself on a bit of a roll....LOL Which is good as I needed to get crackin' on the things for the craft show. Here's a saltbox house scenery that I painted (free hand...no pattern) for the show. I love it and hope that it doesn't sell....ROFLOL....I wanna keep it for MY livingroom. Hee hee.

Here's a slate I just finished up for the craft fair. This one is a great pattern as the buyer doesn't have to change out their slate for the seasons...LOL

Here's the rock garden in the front with some plants, shrubs etc..planted. I can't wait to see this grow into a lush garden. (Patience Tara...Patience.LOL)

Pluggin' away at more projects for the craft show in July. I own a brown toned version of this quilt that I had bought a couple of years ago. I loved it so much that I knew that if I made more of it for the craft show they would be a great seller. Sooooo, here is my first of many of these great ragged wall hanging quilts with the words, "Family, Traditions, Friends and Faith" on the muslin squares. These were stitched which took me a while to do. I think the next one I'll see about painting it and see what it turns out like.

WAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Hubby, Father inlaw and I got to work on Saturday cutting out the bed I shaped with some rope. I wanted something simple, but unique and this is what I came up with. It has the three boulders in it to plant around and right now a very "ugly...but working" fence around it to keep the kids (school kids) from not walking across the lawn and garden. I had ONE boy today test the waters and see if he could get under the rope and across the lawn (with me watching the whole time...very brazin' kid)he made it and I gave him the "evil eye". LOL I know that there will be some kids that will see just how far they can go with me...I am ready for them. LOL I think eventually with the fence along the side of the house and a nice "country fence" it will ward them off even more...Who knows.

(Note to self....Do not buy a house on a corner right in line with a school again...LOL) I love my house and I'm sure my gardens will survive just fine with a few kids in them once in a blue moon...but DANG... some kids now a days just don't have the respect for others things. Grrrrrrr

Here's one of the hard workers after finishing cutting the sod....Great help he was.

Here's Dan bringing back the wheel barrow for more sod removal.

Here's a look at the bed with the boulders and two of the plants I had purchased...positioned where I'll be planting them in a week or so.
