So here's what we did to brighten and bring the front and side garden up a bit. I started off by planting a boxwood on each side of the front door (furthest from the door) then a hosta in the center of each side and finally a euynamous(sp)variagated with green and yellow closest the door. I loved that from the road you could actually see these things and was very pleased. Then we top around them with red cedar mulch and it really brought it to life. On the side garden I planted some hostas and some creeping thyme to be able to go along and through any spot that had a crack where the wall was. This is what it turned out like and much prettier in my eyes then the white rocks and one creeping juniper on either side.
This is to show you and others all about my love of gardening. The attempts of a beginner gardener and all that it entails. Inspirations, small garden plots, container planting and unique garden art.
