I also loved red in my garden, whether it was flowers or garden art I wanted RED. In New Brunswick I made my own garden box with trellis attached while hubby was on course in Ontario. It of course was painted red and I put some purple flowers in there to cascade over the side with morning glory seeds to climb the trellis. Sad part about this is that before I could see any blooms on my morning glories I had to give the box to a friend and the moving of the box to their place in the back of his truck killed the glories. Here's the box just made and painted and then planted.

Here's the trellis box which I made with my scrollsaw and table saw. I painted it my favorite garden color RED. Attached the trellis on the inside back of the box with huge staplers and it was ready to be planted.

I planted the morning glory seeds first and started to see them come up. It still needed something and so I planted the purple flower to cascade over the front.

I could see the morning glories starting and got very excited.

This is what it looked like by the time I had to give the box up to my friend and never got to see any blooms. Beautiful to that point...it would, I'm sure have been a beautiful display.

My goodness, you are one talented lady! I love the red planter box. Too bad the MG's had to die.

Thanks so much Zoey. I love red and just knew that it had to be that color, especially since I thought that the MG's were going to be "heavenly blue" ones. Thanks again.
