Hubby's Safety work helmet painted

Hubby works on Helicopters for a living in the military and wanted me to do something special with his helmet for work. He fixes Sea Kings and so he looked around for a picture that he wanted me to paint on the back of the helmet for him. I was a bit skeptical first as I thought...Oh lord...He wants me to paint that, what if I mess it up and he has to get a new one or something. LOL But all in all he loves it and took it to work and now a few of his coworkers want me to paint theirs too. Here are the pictures.

Time Flies....Done some improvements on the house.

Here are some updates we've done on the inside of the house in the past couple of months, bought new "prim" lighting for the entryway, diningroom, bought new curtains for the diningroom instead of the old "ugly teal blinds". I got a Free prim bench that someone was going to throw out in the trash...>Wahoooo. Gotta love free. Here's the pics. BEFORES and AFTERS.

Before of all three things, these things all in the diningroom..LOL The teal blinds...UG, the ugly ceiling fan...UG and the wonderful country bench my uncle made (love this...) but decided to put it in the spare room instead.....

This is the new entryway lighting..befores was 5 glass domes hanging from a light wood and silver base....not very primitive.LOL

This is the new lighting for the diningroom, it's just what I wanted and it was on sale for half price...Gotta love that.

This is the new curtains for the diningroom, I hated the teal verticals in the diningroom, it sure didn't scream prim...so when I saw these at Sears for half price...I had to have them for the sliding glass doors leading to the deck. LOVE this look now.

Here's the free prim bench someone was going to just toss...it was a taupe color originally, but I wanted to paint it black to match the shelf above it...The bench that was there before in the first picture is being used in the spare room at the foot of the bed now.

Now that the spring is on it's way...I'll be able to post more pictures of the gardening process...we are doing some major work in the front this spring and summer and you all will be so surprised at the results. Have a great day.
