Some more views of my rock garden.

It's a work in progress and yes...sometimes I wonder why I enjoy gardening so much as there's days that go by that it looks EXACTLY the same...but it's the days that I go out to sit on my bench and see that something NEW that keeps me going. It's the days when new life has sprung up in the garden and I can see more color, more greenery, more more more....It's great. Here's some more pics of my garden.

Here's one of my favorite flowers close up...it's called "Johnson Blue" Geranium and it is a great starter plant that will not disappoint. It is a perenial and will come back each year bigger and better. It doesn't need a lot of attention and will eventually take up a large portion of the rock garden...It does get "leggy" but that's the best part of this plant...it just sways with the wind. LOVE THIS.

Here's the baby blue eyes and the white flower that I have grown to love.. Snow-In-Summer (Cerastium tomentosum)that a neighbor gave me last year and it has really taken off...I can't wait for it to take up more of my garden as it's a showy flower with it's silvery leaves and it's bright white flowers.

Here's the best spot in the garden right now...the snow in the summer, baby blue eyes and the lavendar creeping phlox is all lush and colorful. I want all of my garden to have that look some day. This is the side of the garden that gets the "Double takes" from people out walking their dogs or jogging.

This is the middle rock with some forget me nots peeking around it's corner at me. The greenery on the left will have yellow "Bell shaped" flowers on it in about 2 weeks. I will get a before and after shot of this so you can see the color.

This is the view from my bench by the house...I sit and drink my tea on a nice day and just stare at the garden. Some day it will be full enough to really enjoy it's beauty and colors...until then...I'll just enjoy watching it grow.

Thanks Marie....I am loving how the garden is turning out this year. The best is yet to come though...I have blackeyed susans planted behind the middle rock closest to the house so that they peek over the rock when you are walking by the fence...I love that. Thanks again.
