My garden was lacking color, greenery and LIFE. LOL I had been having trouble with browning of leaves, things dying and not alot of color lately. I decided to try my hand at "begging". LOL I went to a neighbors (o.k. so I didn't really know them)but they live on the base so they would be neighbors in my books. They were moving from the south side of the base (I live on the north) and those PMQ's are being torn down eventually (the south PMQ's). SOOOO, long story short I wanted to give my garden a bit of life and asked this person if I could dig up his plants (only saw him, not even sure if he had a wife or family) and he was glad to let me raid his garden. LOL He said, "Take it all" I thought I'd be nice enough to the next people that came along and saw him moving out and give them a chance to rap on his door and interupt his moving himself out with the same question. LOL. Here's what I got from him. Fingers crossed that in a few weeks time I'm not posting a sob story about how they all died. :)

Taracotta

So if my "beginner gardening senses are correct" I believe I got some sedum (the "broccoli" flower)

Here it is in it's full glory. I hope it takes and I'll have some buds open with pinks or white. Do they come in any other color?

Here is definitely some sort of "Rudebekia" as I planted this from the store a few weeks ago and well...you saw what happened to it. Lets hope this doesn't happen to this one. If so, this time I didn't pay for it. LOL

Here is some really TALL rudebekia (sp) I believe. Some sort anyway. If someone could chime in with it's true name that would be great.

Here's a close up of it. Very nice

Here's a small view of part of the garden...hey, I see color. Hee hee.
