Country Fence put up. LOVE IT.

O.k. I know I know...it's been a month since I posted, but what a lot I've accomplished....O.k. Hubby accomplished. LOL We were tired of the school kids walking through our garden in the front yard and decided that we wanted to put a fence around it and eventually one along the side of our property too. The schools (both Elementary and Junior High) are behind our home and they use our lawn as the cut through...Arggggggg Sooo frustrating. We put a wonderful garden in the front with large boulders, wonderful plants to see it trampled each and every day...NOT!!!!! So here are the pictures of the country "post and rail" fence we put around it and so far so good....only one boy tested waters and jumped it so far...BUGGER...but all in all, I'm really happy we have it up.

I really like it! It makes the area look finished!

You are lucky to have a handy husband. I am lucky to be married to a wonderful man, he's just not friends with tools. :-) It's ok though, he is handy at moving furniture when I want to redecorate and he DID actually lay a wood floor in our livingroom and diningroom! Yeah for husbands!

Can't wait to see your flowers! We just got back from a quick trip back east and the flowers OHHHH! I forgot spring in Pa! It was GORGEOUS! The cherry blossoms, the tulips and daffodils growing all over. I miss GREEN! :-)

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks....I am very lucky to have him to do "the honey do list" and he's a great guy. I am happy to say that the fence is doing it's job. It's only been tested once (that I've seen) by a kid jumping over it, LOL I had to laugh though...he could have easily just gone to the opening..Oh well, anyway. Thanks.
