This is my fireplace....it's all decorative, we don't use it. LOL
Nothing like a bowl of Pinecones and snowmen heads
Jellycupboard full of Goodies, Santa painted by me. Dolly with candy canes bought on ebay...the candy canes weren't hers originally...I let her hold them for the holidays. LOL
Snowman Rusty tin decorated with greenery and Snowballs...they were so much fun to make, just a bunch of styrofoam balls with "Snowtex" fake snow you can buy at your craft store. So simple yet really effective for the holidays.

The snowmen are adorable. My husband loves when Snowmen look happy. I have no idea why but he is like a little kid when he sees a "happy" snowman!

Thank you so much. I have them plugged in behind the quilt ladder that's to the side of the fireplace. I love the white lights..it just makes it so cozy at night when I can hear the wind howling. LOL Thanks again.

I really miss having a fireplace. Not just for the display space but a warm fire on a cold night. My Mom is an avid figure skating fan. I'm not near as good as painter as you are but I may have to remember those painted skates for a future gift for her. Love the snowman on the red bucket too.
Thanks Shirlee....I wish our fireplace worked, but it leaks when it rains and we just don't have the funds right now to fix it to be able to use it. LOL It's just decorative...it's funny though how just a fireplace with a few strategic lights or candles can make you FEEL warm. LOL Thanks bunches.

HI Tara I love the decor Funny you should have snow balls I was looking to make some so do you think I could buy Snowtex at Michaels? Would it be called the same thing? Should I look in the paint dept for it?

Ranae, yes...snowtex (it's delta Ceramacoat)I believe and you could find it in the paint section I'm sure. Good luck.
