Garden Update....It's getting BIG

I just love how my rock garden is turning out, it's got many plants in it and each one seemed to have it's glory at certain times...always showing color for the whole time...something is always bloomin'. The newest thing to show some color is the tall greenery to the left rear when looking at the full on picture of the garden. Not sure what it is as I bought it as bulbs and planted them in the spring and it's just now showing it's beautiful red bells. Also loving the yellow "rudebekia" I believe they are a type of black eyed susan. Thanks for peekin' into my garden.

Here is the before...when I just got the area dug for the garden and the rocks situated (I had bought a dwarf rhodie and a dwarf forsythia bush and that was it)April 2006

Here is the after which was taken a couple of days ago (August 2006)

Here is a picture of the "Red bells" with tall greenery that they shot up from. Anyone know what this bulb would be?

LOVE those yellow "black eyed susan's" they sure know how to put on a show. I love that they peek over the middle rock.

A picture of one of my "Burgundy/deep red" Lilies. Love the color....will transplant that in my rock garden for sure.

Thanks Crazygramma....I love how it's turning out. Next year we'll have the "country fence" around it and more flowers to fill in any gaps and I can't wait. LOL

Thanks sue....I'll be back at your blog soon too, Hanna...thanks for visiting my little corner of the web. You're right, it's amazing to go from the "befores" to the "afters" to see where you've started and are going.
