Well...Christmas is just around the corner and if you're like me..you can't stand not giving your gifts early and seeing the people's reactions. LOL I opted to give my inlaws their gifts early to see their faces when they opened their gifts. I painted them each a wreath for their doors and I must say that I think they liked them. LOL I gave Dan's parents the church scene wreath, Della (his oldest sister) the wreath with barn and ol' wheel by the post, and his youngest sister the old water wheel house. The last picture of the barn and wheel against the post is a bit washed out compared to what it really looks like, it's really bright. Unlike the picture. I really enjoyed doing them and also sold some, gave some of the church scene as a gift to my Nannie and Grandpi that I will see over the holidays when with my family this year. We're going to be going to mom and dad's for Christmas this year and I think that it will be a Christmas that will be so special in my heart. My Grandmother, Father and Nannie all had brushes with death and were spared through prayer and in my eyes miracles. I will say this..."Thank you Lord for sparing them". I now know how short life can be and that you should always cherish those you have in the NOW and tell them you love them every day.
