First I'd like to say that I love my mother and father in law...You're all wondering now why I'm saying this on the blog right?! Well...this next project is for them for a Christmas gift and I am hoping that they don't look in my blog for any updates...Not really sure if they've even seen the blog yet, but if they do...THIS IS FOR YOU ZITA and LEO for Christmas. I want it to be a surprise, but yet I wanted my blog readers to see the newest project without having to wait until after Christmas to see it. LOL So, any of Dan's family that reads this...don't mention it to his parents in case they don't see it. Thanks. This was a fun and unique project and I'm already in the process of getting more supplies to do more of these wreaths.

This church scene was chosen as my inlaws are advid church goers and I know that this will be something that they'll really like.

This is a closer view of the winter scene...

This is an even closer view of it...I try to get a picture of just the scene on all my projects as I'm working on a calendar using my scenes as the subjects of each month. Anyone willing to buy one when I get it published...LOL Just kidding. In my dreams.

This next couple of photos are of my newest "friend". LOL My husband says he's looking for a "Hand out" as he is missing a hand. LOL I had to laugh as he'll come right to the door and stand up on his hind legs waiting for me to throw him some stale crackers. Here he is....

omg...is that really a black one handed squirrel? LOL

My hubby has been trying to convince me for the longest time that there are black squirrels, and of course everytime he takes me up north in hopes of proving to me they exist, none are to be found LOL
You sure that just isnt a stripless skunk? lol

LOL....yip, that would be a blackie. LOL They are everywhere around here. Before I came to Ontario I had only seen the grey ones and never heard of the black ones...They exist. LOL

Your church scene is lovely. I am sure they will love it. What will you be putting on the wreath?
Every now and then I see a black squirrel in my yard. They are usually much larger than the reds.

Thanks Zoey....I will be putting red ribbon around the wreath (intertwined through) and then a red bow at the bottom to mimic the red bows on the fence. Thanks again for your sweet comment on my painting.

Nancy...Thanks girl. Yip...I'll whip up more when I'm in Greenwood (counting my chickens before they hatch there. LOL) Take care and hopefully see you soon.
